Royal Wedding

Everyone is obsessed with the royal wedding. It gets annoying but at the same time I somewhat understand why the girls and women would be excited. Every little girl’s dream is to marry a prince and live happily ever after. That’s what we all read in the fairytales; the big white wedding in the church with the bells, the big dress, and the handsome prince waiting at the altar. Seeing a common woman marry a prince, makes girls everywhere see that dreams can really come true. But I think that marrying the real prince isn’t the most important part, it’s being happy. Many women are able to find their prince charming in a regular man they fall in love with. I would much rather be happy with a normal man, than live a stressful life with a real prince. But of course, that is just my view of it. The royal wedding of course, was beautiful and dreamy. The bride looked amazing in the white dress with the lace and the prince looked very handsome in his uniform, even if he is balding already. But the biggest topic was the hats. The ugliest hats, everyone would agree were the hats the of the prince’s cousins. One had a blue thing that looked like a boat with feathers on it and the other was a circle on her forehead with a huge bow on top that had the ribbons coming down the side. I think hats can be very nice and I know they are part of the fashion in England but those were just way too exaggerated. So that was the real life fairy tale wedding which every girl dreams of, with big white dress, the church bells and the prince.

NYC

So over spring break I went to New York City. It was amazing! We got in a cab early in the morning, from the airport and drove to Times Square where our hotel was. As soon as we started approaching my sister and I spotted the tall buildings with the bright lights. We were so amazed at the beauty of it all that the cold didn’t even bother us. We got out of the cab and just couldn’t stop staring at all the lights and buildings. When we got into the hotel they said we would have to wait for the room to be ready, but there was so much to do and see we couldn’t just sit in a lobby and wait. We left our bags there and set off into the concrete jungle. We spent the next few days doing things all day long. We walked up and down Times Square like 100 times and just went everywhere. We took the tour bus to the empire state building and the statue of liberty which really are amazing places to see. We went shopping in many places as well and it was loads of fun. There was just so much to do, so many places to go and so many things to see it would take ages to write everything I did.

Blog Blog Blog

What do I think about blogging? Well, I really don’t think much of it. It’s a good place to voice your thoughts or maybe just write about any random thing. I don’t really enjoy blogging that much because writing is not my strong point, but it’s nice to have somewhere to share your thoughts sometimes. I think blogs can also be good places to find advice and get opinions. Some blogs are just stupid and the people who made them really have nothing to do. Those are the blogs who are just about what people do each day or how their life is so boring. But there are also the interesting blogs about interesting topics, or advice. I enjoy blogging when I feel like it, but sometimes it can get tedious. I think it’s good when the teacher makes us have a blog for school because it helps our writing but it can also be frustrating when you can’t find anything to blog about. This post is a mandatory one where I have to write about blogging and I think it’s good when the teacher assigns the topic as well because you don’t have to look for an interesting topic and then figure out what to say about it.
